The Weisers have now offered another wonderful gift for the benefit of Human Services. Dick has been painting various landmarks and points of interest in and around Canal Winchester for several years. He and Jo’s son, Todd Weiser, initially suggested that a book of various watercolors be published back in January, 2010. With additional assistance from Cheryl Baughman, Liz Martin and Carolyn Hungerman, this act of kindness was completed after several months of hard work and dedication to the project.
Dick and Jo, along with their grandson, Rex, have published a book entitled A Collection of Watercolor Paintings and Wood Carvings From 1972 to 2009. Autographed copies are also available for purchase at the Community Center as well as Ebay (click HERE). The suggested contribution is $40.00.
The Weiser family has always been an integral part of Canal Winchester Human Services. Jo was one of the original co-founders of the organization in 1955 and she continues to actively serve the organization as a trustee on the Board of Directors. Dick has also been very supportive through the years. In 2006, Dick began donating prints of his original water colors to Human Services. Purchase of these prints (see below) help fund the Canal Winchester Human Services Endowment Fund. Framed copies of the prints may be viewed at the Community Center (22 South Trine Street) or on Ebay (click HERE).
