Canal Winchester Human Services has been coordinating a holiday assistance program since it first began back in 1955.  In 2005, the program was expanded and became known as “Adopt A Family”.  We are pleased to offer a wide range of assistance to help families that are struggling during the holiday season.  While many programs are geared around toys and the “fun” of Christmas, we believe it is important to serve all the needs of each child that is “adopted” through our Program.  Each child receives not only toys, but also clothes and a pair of shoes.    We also provide a good, used coat to all those that need one and a food basket for each family. 

For those in need of assistance, please click (HERE) to retrieve our application form beginning October 1.  This must be completed in full and returned to us NO LATER THAN NOVEMBER 30.

For those wanting to help, please contact us to discuss the best way to participate.  Toy and financial contribution will be gratefully accepted at the Canal Winchester Community Center, 22 South Trine Street.
